The staff of the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution recently attended the Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA) 25th Annual Conference, “Celebrating Ourselves and Our Work”. Each staff members certainly had something to celebrate:
Dr. Kristen A. Kawczynski, Director, was the Conference Chair and also presented “Celebrating Your New Job: Tips for A Mid-managers Transition”
Mr. Tyler Groll, Coordinator, was a co-coordinator for New Professionals events and presented with former Associate Director, Ms. Sarah Clegg) “Celebrating Mistakes: Learning and Growing from Commonly Made Mistakes in Student Conduct”
Mr. Jonathan Monti, Coordinator, presented “Celebrating the Graduate Student Experience: Strategies for Success”
Ms. Stacey Butler, Graduate Assistant, received a diversity scholarship to attend the conference, was the recipient of the Graduate Student of the Year award, and won the Graduate Student/New Professionals Case Study Competition (for the second year in a row)
Ms. Dallas Flint, Practicum student from Nova Southeastern University, teaming up with Stacey to win the Graduate Student/New Professionals Case Study Competition.
