MPAS Scholars Award

The MPAS Scholars Award is a tuition-based scholarship available to incoming freshman at Florida International University. This award places a major emphasis on identifying and developing emerging leaders. It pays $1,000 toward tuition per semester and is renewable each year (fall and spring terms only) for a total of four years with an academic performance of a 2.75 GPA or above and enrollment in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester.

Students should have all of their admission materials submitted to the FIU Admissions Office prior to the scholarship deadline. Award offers cannot be made unless a student has been fully admitted to FIU prior to our review of scholarship applications. Please note that while students may apply for both awards, they can only be the recipient of one scholarship. The following is a summary of the minimum criteria/requirements needed to be considered for each scholarship for award year.
