Student Affairs

College is a rich and multi-faceted adventure, shaped by experiences learned both in and outside the classroom. Participating in an intramural sport, writing for the student newspaper or serving as a cabinet member for Student Government Association can influence your interests, provide practical skills and experience, and enrich learning. The Division of Student Affairs supports these experiences by engaging students outside of the classroom through 23 departments. Let's explore and grow together.

International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women
This day is dedicated to promote awareness about the global issues of sexual assault, interpersonal violence, human trafficking, and violence on college campuses and beyond. The Women's Center at BBC and MMC, together with the International Education Week committee and student organizations, facilitate this annual event in observance of this day designated by the United Nations General Assembly also known as White Ribbon Day.
Celebrate Engagement Week November 13 - 17

Join FIU's Center for Leadership and Service in celebrating Engagement Week. Engagement Week (Monday, November 13 - Friday, November 17, 2017) recognizes the awareness of Hunger and Homelessness. In the past, we've hosted Cooking Demos, Voter Registration Drives, and discussions to get our FIU community involved. This year, we'll have a Box City event and more!

Cycle Under the Stars for the United Way
We're taking our cycling classes to a new level by moving them outside! Come cycle under the stars for a great cause! 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the FIU United Way Campaign!
