Global Learning

At FIU students will develop global awareness, a global perspective and use their passion to make the world a better place.

This doesn’t just happen in the classroom.

With the Global Learning Medallion program, students can design their own experience – choosing from more than 170 Global learning courses, globally focused activities, study abroad programs, foreign languages and original research that will help them become a globally engaged citizen.

Global Learning's weekly Tuesday Times Roundtable series helps students connect with global issues and discuss equitable solutions to global problems. Students can also participate in clubs such as Students Offering Support and GlobeMed, developing global leadership skills. For students thinking of joining the Peace Corps, the immersive Peace Corps Prep program helps build the skills to tackle the most pressing needs of people around the world.
