Summer Internship Housing

FIU offers short-term educational intern housing in University Towers. Each apartment has 4 single bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shared living space. Each bedroom is keyed independently.

Dates of availability

May 15-August 1, 2018


Units are rented by the bedroom on a weekly basis with a 2-week minimum stay.

  • Nightly rate: $29.00/person
  • Nightly rate w/linens: $34.00/person
  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of submitting their agreement. The deposit will be applied towards the rent due.

Refunds for late arrivals or early departures will not be given.

Additional charges may apply following check out. Interns and/or their companies will be charged accordingly for any excessive cleaning, damages or lock-out charges.


  • Interns must be 18 years of age or older upon signing the agreement. Proof of date of birth is required through an official government document such as a state issued Photo ID or passport.
  • Interns must be college students and must provide an official transcript as proof enrollment.
  • Validation of internship/work program is also required. This should be in the form of a letter from intern's supervisor or human resources department.

Other Costs

Parking passes, Recreation and Wellness passes and meal plans are available for an additional cost.

Corporate Requests and Payment

Corporate requests and billing are available for groups of interns, however each intern must complete an individual application.
