Transfer On-Campus Orientation

We offer Transfer On-Campus Orientation at the Modesto A. Maidique Campus (MMC), Biscayne Bay Campus (BBC), and FIU at I-75 in Miramar (I-75). Advising for most majors is specific to a campus, so you should confirm the degree program you're admitted to prior to signing up for your On-Campus Orientation. You can find this information by logging into your account, clicking on Academic Advising and then Degree Audit. If it is not the major that you intend to pursue at FIU, it is critical that you complete the Undergraduate Application Update Form right away.

Note that admission to FIU does not guarantee admission to selective or limited access programs of study, and you may have been admitted to your second choice major (refer to your admission letter for details and contact Admissions if you have questions regarding this). All major changes must be confirmed before signing up for your On-Campus Orientation.

Dates for your Admission Term and Major will be available to you in the Orientation tile in your My.FIU account once you've completed your Virtual Orientation and they are open for sign up. You will see more information specific to your Admission Term in the drop-downs below.

Note: Registration for Orientation is first-come, first-served and sessions will close once they've reached their maximum capacity (FULL). Therefore, no walk-ins will be allowed. Do not book any travel plans until you are signed up and confirmed for a specific session.
