The mission of MPAS LGBTQA Initiatives at FIU is to meet the needs of the LGBTQA student population by developing and implementing educational, social and resource programs and services at FIU. Our LGBTQA Initiative is part of the department of Multicultural Programs and Services within the division of Student Affairs. We offer services that S.A.V.E our students! There are four areas of concentration that guide our LGBTQA Initiatives, spelling out S.A.V.E.: Student Support, Awareness, Visibility, and Education. Both the personal and academic well-being of the FIU LGBTQA students are at the heart of all we do!

Through your contribution to the MPAS LGBTQA Initiatives Ignite campaign, you will ignite creativity, discovery and innovation, as well as strengthen the financial foundation needed for FIU to ascend to the next level of excellence. 

  • Recurring Biweekly Payroll Deductions – Your Gift Amount will be deducted continuously. (i.e., $1.92 = $1.92 per pay period until you request a change)
  • One Payment Payroll Deduction – Your Gift Amount will be deducted from one pay check only. (i.e., $100 = $ 100 from one pay period)
