MPAS & Golden Drum Scholarship
This information is for BOTH the MPAS and Golden Drum Scholarships. Please note that while students may apply for both awards, they can only be the recipient of one scholarship. Click here for scholarship application.
MPAS Scholarship
This scholarship is open to all high school seniors (Miami-Dade and Broward counties) who meet the minimum criteria. The applicant must be a U.S. citizen or resident alien with an unweighted high school GPA of 3.0 or better.
ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN PDF FORMAT
The student must submit the following documents with their completed application form by the deadline:
- A resume highlighting high school involvement/leadership, community service experience, and awards/honors.
- One signed and dated letter of recommendation, by a teacher/instructor, advisor or employer on official letterhead.
- A two-page topic essay— Using the Office of Social Justice and Inclusion website (ojsi.fiu.edu) select one of our programs or services and describe how that program/service could impact your FIU college experience. (Typed, double-spaced, 10 or 12 pt. font with a 1-inch margin)
Golden Drum Scholarship
This scholarship is open to all admitted high school seniors (Miami-Dade and Broward counties) who meet the minimum criteria. The applicant must be a U.S. citizen or resident alien with an unweighted high school GPA of 3.0 or better.
