Graduate and Professional Student Committee

Due to the current travel ban, GPSC applications for domestic and international travel have been suspended until further notification from the Provost.  At this point applications for domestic travel occurring up to July 1, 2020 and international travel occuring up to July 31, 2020 cannot be approved.  If you have submitted a request for travel you will receive a “reject” message. Requests for travel after the mentioned dates will be held for consideration after further notification from the Provost.

If you traveled prior to the Provost suspension, please submit the documentation to close out the Travel Authorization.  Please remember that you have 30 days after travel to submit the receipts and proper documents to obtain reimbursement.

If you had travel scheduled after the Provost travel suspension every effort should be made first to not lose the cost of the travel.  You will need written documentation from the airline, conference registration and hotel stating the action that was taken (credit, change of date, cancellation w/no refund) to close out the travel expense.  Please submit an expense report as soon as possible and attach the written documentation.

The Graduate & Professional Student Committee (GPSC) helps facilitate and enhance the overall graduate student experience, by advancing the university’s academic goals and promoting quality presentations and research efforts.

Applications that do not fulfill all GPSC requirements as listed in the Mandatory PowerPoint Workshop presentation will be rejected immediately.
