Graduate and Professional Student Committee

Per Provost’s email on August 14, 2020 all domestic and international travel on behalf of the university remains suspended until further notice.

Pursuant to the July 2020 Emergency Operations Pending COVID-19 Budget Outcomes narrative, GPSC is accepting application for virtual conferences/webinars with a maximum amount of $400.   The Division of Academic and Student Affairs created an Exception Request Form that will need to be submitted when requesting funding for virtual conferences/webinars.  This form must be included along with your GPSC application.  If the form is pending approval, make sure to submit the GPSC application to comply with the deadline.  Once the form is approved, email it to so it can be uploaded to your application.

Please note:  Professional development virtual conferences/webinars for a fee are currently suspended.  Exceptions will be made with justification for essential need to address/educate on how to deal with COVID-19 pandemic and continued operations that fall under the University’s strategic plan while learning remotely.

The Graduate & Professional Student Committee (GPSC) helps facilitate and enhance the overall graduate student experience, by advancing the university’s academic goals and promoting quality presentations and research efforts.

Applications that do not fulfill all GPSC requirements as listed in the Mandatory PowerPoint Workshop presentation will be rejected immediately.
