Sports Clubs

Join one of the Sports Clubs as a participating member or council member. Our clubs all follow the Council of Equals organizational structure. 

Benefits to holding a council of equals member position includes:
  • Experience a new leadership structure @ FIU called "Council of Equals" based on the servant leadership philosophy of Robert Greenleaf and Parker Palmer. The council of equals organization structure equally distributes power and control of the organization from a couple of positions to the entire body, allowing for the organization to practice social justice, equality and humanity
  • Network with professional staff at the university and in the local community
  • Professional photo shoot and bio created and located on club website
