Triathlon

Celebrating six years of swimming, biking and running at FIU Wellness and Recreation - BBC, the City Bikes Biscayne Bay Triathlon (formerly FIU 2575) is USA Triathlon sanctioned event consisting of a sprint and off-road triathlon, and the City Bikes Super Sprint Triathlon is a beginner friendly course consisting of a pool and open water triathlon. From 2012-2019 our triathletes continue the challenge: “Are you the fastest?

The City Bikes Biscayne Bay & Super Sprint Triathlon event held at the Biscayne Bay Campus is on the fastest, flattest and most picturesque course in Florida. The race will take you on a swim in the calm waters of Biscayne Bay, biking on a closed course with no vehicle traffic past protected mangrove restorations and running with views of Sandspur Island through shaded protected habitats.

Currently registered students and those who graduated in 2018 race for free! Students MUST bring proof of FIU student status with them to packet pickup (past schedule or transcript).
