Participation in Florida International University (FIU) Wellness & Recreation Center - MMC programs and/or use of its facilities is completely voluntary. Participation may result in physical and/or mental injury from these activities. Individuals participate AT THEIR OWN RISK and assume responsibility for their own health and safety. FIU and the Wellness & Recreation Center - MMC are not liable for injuries sustained during participation in sponsored activites or as a result of using its facilities.

It is strongly recommended that all participants consult a physician and/or have a physical exam prior to participation. Participants should understand that FIU does not provide personal accident/health insurance. Therefore, participants are urged to secure their own insurance.
